Jesus said in Matthew 5:17, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.” What Jesus said don’t think is what many Christians think: that Jesus abolished the law. What did Jesus mean when He said, I came to fulfill the law? Does this mean there is no moral obligation to the 10 commandments?
